Produced by the renowned French manufacturer Renault, the Magnum marked a clear break with tradition in the heavy commercial vehicle market. Introduced in 1990, it was immediately recognized for its innovative design, characterized by the angular lines of the cab – designed to maximize on-board comfort for long-distance driving – which made it easily recognizable on the road. The cab was also structurally separate from both the chassis and engine compartment, further improving driver comfort and ergonomics. Over time, the model underwent various technical and aesthetic upgrades and remained in production until 2013. The Renault Magnum can rightly be considered a milestone in industrial and commercial transport. It was also awarded the title of “International Truck of the Year” in 1991.
