Patchwork Americana
In Patchwork, two players compete to build the most aesthetic (and high-scoring) patchwork quilt on a personal 9x9 game board. To start play, lay out all of the patches at random in a circle and place a marker directly clockwise of the 2-1 patch. Each player takes five buttons — the currency/points in the game — and someone is chosen as the start player.
To create a beautiful quilt, however, requires effort and time, but the available patches just do not want to fit together. So choose your patches carefully and keep a healthy supply of buttons to not only finish your quilt, but to make it better and more beautiful than your opponent‘s.
"Patchwork Americana" is a re-theme of the game "Patchwork". It does not change any game mechanics of the original. The artwork has been adapted to resemble a more (U.S.) American way of creating patchworks. The design is an homage at the flag of the United States of America, sporting the typical colours, stars & stripes.
